Being able to manage stress is important as the world around us is moving fast, with many pressures, challenges and choices confronting us every day. When faced with too little time and too much pressure, we are more vulnerable to participating in behaviors that threaten personal health and happiness, eg., smoking, alcohol abuse, an unhealthy diet, not enough exercise, poor quality sleep, and too much stress.
